Possible Producer Concerns:
- Volunteers similar to barley
- Fertilize like barley or soft white wheat
- Marketing in pool to keep consistent supply
to feeders

Possible Producer Advantages:
- Stronger seedling vigor for both Spring
     and Winter Varieties
- Deeper Root Systems than Wheat
- Different Soil Borne Diseases than Wheat
- More Tolerant or Resistant to Soil Borne
     and Foliar Diseases than Wheat
- More Tolerant to Insects than Wheat
- Average price has been above Barley over
     the long run, but is based on corn
- Managed acreage to keep supply in line
    with demand
